Witness Identifies Jam Master Jay's Alleged Killer in Court

Uriel Rincon, close friend of the late DJ, breaks years of silence to testify against Karl Jordan Jr. and Ronald Washington in ongoing murder trial.

Uriel “Tony” Rincon, a close friend of Jam Master Jay, testified in court that he witnessed Karl Jordan Jr. shoot the Run-DMC founder in his Queens music studio in 2002.
Rincon stated that he was too scared to come forward earlier, despite recognizing both Jordan and alleged accomplice Ronald “Tinard” Washington.
Rincon, who was also shot in the leg during the incident, finally cooperated with authorities in 2017, testifying before a federal grand jury.
Jordan and Washington are being tried for the DJ’s murder, each facing a minimum of 20 years in prison if convicted.
Rincon's testimony is the first eyewitness account given in the trial.
