Overview

• Uriel “Tony” Rincon, a close friend of Jam Master Jay, testified in court that he witnessed Karl Jordan Jr. shoot the Run-DMC founder in his Queens music studio in 2002.
• Rincon stated that he was too scared to come forward earlier, despite recognizing both Jordan and alleged accomplice Ronald “Tinard” Washington.
• Rincon, who was also shot in the leg during the incident, finally cooperated with authorities in 2017, testifying before a federal grand jury.
