Wisconsin Secretary of State Calls for Removal of Fake Trump Elector

Robert Spindell Jr., who served as a fake elector for Trump in the 2020 election, faces calls for his removal from the Wisconsin Elections Commission.

Sarah Godlewski, the Democratic Secretary of State in Wisconsin, has called for the removal of Robert Spindell Jr., a Republican who served as a fake elector for former President Trump, from the Wisconsin Elections Commission.
Spindell was one of 10 Republicans who signed certificates in 2020 falsely stating that Trump had won Wisconsin, which was won by President Joe Biden.
Last week, these 10 Republicans conceded in a legal settlement that Biden had won the state and agreed not to serve as electors in any future election where Trump is running.
They also admitted that their actions were part of an attempt to improperly overturn the 2020 presidential election results, but avoided paying any damages and did not admit any wrongdoing.
Spindell, who was first appointed to the commission in 2019 and reappointed in 2021, will be a member leading up to and after the 2024 presidential election unless he resigns or is removed.
