Wisconsin Revamps Quarterback Room with Two Transfers, Loses 2025 Recruit

Wisconsin has secured two quarterbacks from the transfer portal: Danny O’Neil from San Diego State and Billy Edwards Jr. from Maryland.
Danny O’Neil, a freshman starter at SDSU, threw for 2,181 yards, 12 touchdowns, and six interceptions in 2024, with three years of eligibility remaining.
Billy Edwards Jr., Maryland’s 2024 starter, brings Big Ten experience with 2,881 passing yards, 15 touchdowns, and nine interceptions last season.
