• Police allege Brandon T. Szyszkiewicz, 26, lured a 12-year-old from her Onondaga County home on Sept. 12 after grooming her online.
• Officers located Szyszkiewicz leaving a Seneca Falls hotel with the child, who was recovered and reunited with her family.
• He was arraigned in Seneca County on five first-degree rape counts and one count of endangering the welfare of a child, with bail set at $250,000 or a $500,000 bond.
• Before these charges, he was held at the Onondaga County Justice Center on allegations including custodial interference, luring a child, endangering the welfare of a child, and possession of obscene sexual material.
• The investigation remains active with assistance from the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office, the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office, and the Seneca County District Attorney’s Office.
