Wisconsin DOJ Identifies Suspect in Mazomanie Killing, Names Officers in Fatal Marinette Shooting

Investigators are testing a recovered sharp-edged weapon from the shooting scene.

Overview

  • Andrew Lloyd Collamore, 23, was identified as the suspect in the Aug. 28 killing of Thomas B. Muckler, 70, in the town of Mazomanie.
  • Marinette officers Parker J. De Los Santos and Andrew D. Bonjean fired on Collamore on Aug. 29 after a pursuit and crash near U.S. Highway 41 and Schacht Road in Peshtigo.
  • A Marinette County deputy’s Taser did not stop Collamore before the officers shot him; he was pronounced dead at a hospital.
  • One body camera and both officers’ in‑car cameras were recording, and the officers are on administrative duty per policy; no officers were injured.
  • The DOJ Division of Criminal Investigation is leading the shooting inquiry and Dane County is handling the homicide case, with authorities saying there is no evidence Collamore knew Muckler and that he had broken into the victim’s home.
