Overview

• Wipha has been downgraded to a tropical depression over northern Vietnam but heavy rains continue to trigger floods and landslides
• Nghe An province recorded one fatality, one person missing and four injuries after a fallen tree and flash floods swept through the region
• Nearly 400 households have been evacuated from landslide-prone zones and more than 200 families in Yen Hoa commune remain cut off by damaged roads
• Floodwaters have inundated hundreds of homes and destroyed crops while power outages and communication blackouts persist in upland communities
• Northern Thailand also experienced flooding that affected over 350 residents, though no casualties have been reported there
