Despite Ayton's Absence, Trail Blazers Secure Win Against Nets

Portland Trail Blazers center Deandre Ayton was unable to attend a game against the Brooklyn Nets due to an ice sheet in his neighborhood that prevented him from traveling to the Moda Center.
Ayton, who had been set to return to the court after missing 11 games due to right knee tendinitis, tried for hours to combat the sheet of ice and the team sent people to help, but to no avail.
The incident occurred amid a severe winter storm in Portland that resulted in multiple deaths, over 165,000 people without power, numerous fallen trees, and 67 visits to the emergency room for cold-related conditions.
Despite Ayton's absence, the Trail Blazers managed to win the game against the Nets.
Ayton is expected to return for the next game against the Indiana Pacers.
