  • The traveler was removed from an outbound flight without incident after an examination flagged abnormalities in the checked baggage.
  • Authorities identified the suspect as 18-year-old Mariane Lee of Winnipeg and charged her with possession for trafficking, possession for exporting and attempting to export prohibited goods.
  • The Integrated Border Enforcement Team in Alberta has launched a criminal investigation in coordination with the RCMP Federal Policing Northwest Region, the Canada Border Services Agency and the Calgary Police Service.
