Overview
- ODOT reported widespread early Wednesday closures across Western and Central Oregon, including segments of OR 22 near Detroit, OR 126 east of Vida, U.S. 20 near Shea Viewpoint, U.S. 26 at Zigzag and Government Camp, and several Willamette Valley routes.
- Crews spent the day assessing damage and clearing debris, with stretches of OR 22 near Gates and U.S. 26 east of Welches reopened by late morning as conditions allowed.
- Pacific Power said about 50,000 customers lost electricity across Oregon and Washington, and PGE reported tens of thousands still out with the utility aiming to restore the vast majority by Thursday night.
