Windsor Police Seek Suspects in $222,000 Beef Trailer Theft

Investigators urge the public to submit any relevant dashcam or security video.

  • The semi-trailer was taken around 6:30 p.m. on Aug. 2 from a parking lot in the 2400 block of Cabana Road East near Walker Road.
  • The stolen cargo comprised 530 boxes of boneless beef chuck roast valued at about $160,000 USD, roughly $222,000 CAD.
  • The rig was labeled Cost 2 Coast Xpress and had been parked for about four hours before the theft.
  • Two men broke into the semi and drove away with the trailer; one had a slim build with long dark curly hair and wore all black, while the other wore dark pants, a light shirt, and a dark baseball hat.
