Williams Fined €5,000 After Alex Albon's Airbox Fan Mishap at Azerbaijan GP

Albon's qualifying disrupted by an airbox fan incident, resulting in a penalty for Williams and a 10th place start.

Alex Albon's Williams car left the garage with an airbox intake fan still attached during Azerbaijan GP qualifying.
The incident forced Albon to stop at the pit exit to remove the fan, costing him valuable time and a chance for another flying lap.
The FIA fined Williams €5,000 for releasing the car in an unsafe condition and for Albon discarding the fan on the track.
Despite the mishap, both Williams drivers made it to Q3 for the first time this season, with Franco Colapinto qualifying ninth.
Ferrari's Charles Leclerc secured pole position, followed by McLaren's Oscar Piastri and Ferrari's Carlos Sainz in second and third, respectively.
