The couple offered a brief family update during a Sunningdale engagement shortly after their children returned to Lambrook.

  • Prince William said seven-year-old Prince Louis is “a character” and a “very good boy” who enjoys winding up his brother and sister.
  • He added that Prince George “just knows how to behave” in public but is different at home, noting the five-year age gap between George and Louis.
  • Princess Kate said the children were “crafting in every corner of the house” over summer and discussed her beekeeping and the value of making and community.
  • William confirmed he was relieved the school term had begun, with George, Charlotte and Louis back at Lambrook; the children are 12, 10 and 7 respectively, and George is in his final year at the prep school.
