William and Kate to Resume Public Duties With Natural History Museum Visit on Sept. 4

  • Kensington Palace said Princess Kate, the museum’s patron, and Prince William will tour the redeveloped gardens and meet pupils in the National Education Nature Park.
  • The appearance ends a seven-week gap since their last official outing at Wimbledon in July.
  • The visit comes a day after Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis return to Lambrook School on Sept. 3.
  • Researchers will demonstrate networks of sensors and environmental DNA analysis used to map urban wildlife in gardens that reopened in 2024.
  • Organizers report more than 7,500 schools, nurseries and colleges have taken part in the Nature Park, which is supported by the Department for Education and the RHS.
