Overview
- Will Ospreay defeated Kenny Omega to capture the AEW World Championship at Wembley Stadium on Sunday, Aug. 30, completing his long comeback from a career‑threatening neck injury.
- The show produced a major championship reset: six titles changed hands at All In, including Mercedes Moné capturing the AEW Women’s World Championship from Willow Nightingale.
- AEW staged a free Buy In pre-show two hours before the main card and distributed the main show across HBO Max, Prime Video, DAZN, PPV partners and MyAEW to reach international viewers.
- Reports put paid ticket sales at roughly 44,000, a figure commentators used to assess how the Wembley return measured against AEW’s prior big‑stadium events.
- The outcome reshapes near‑term storylines—names mentioned as likely challengers include Jon Moxley—and the card featured surprise moments such as Britt Baker’s reveal and new team debuts that point to multiple follow-up feuds.
