Overview

• The Public Prosecution Service (PPS) announced it will not prosecute Will Kerr due to insufficient evidence meeting the high threshold for a criminal conviction.
• Kerr, suspended in 2023 over allegations of sexual offences and misconduct in public office, had denied all allegations of criminality.
• Investigations by the Police Ombudsman for Northern Ireland and the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) had led to the PPS review.
