Wilfried Nancy Wins 2024 MLS Coach of the Year

The Columbus Crew coach earned the honor after a record-setting season, including a Leagues Cup victory and a CONCACAF Champions Cup final appearance.

Wilfried Nancy was named MLS Coach of the Year after leading the Columbus Crew to a standout 2024 season with 19 wins, 66 points, and 72 goals, all club records.
Nancy, in his second season with Columbus, also guided the team to a Leagues Cup title and a runner-up finish in the CONCACAF Champions Cup.
The Crew finished second in the Supporters' Shield standings, their best result in 15 years, and led MLS with a +32 goal differential.
Nancy became the first Columbus coach to win the award since Sigi Schmid in 2008, securing 40% of the votes across players, clubs, and media.
Despite their regular-season success, the Crew were eliminated in the opening round of the MLS playoffs by the New York Red Bulls.
