- Minnesota announced Wednesday that defenseman Jonas Brodin was moved to injured reserve and prospect Carson Lambos was recalled from AHL Iowa.
- Brodin sustained a lower-body injury on Dec. 11 against Dallas and has missed the last three games.
- Head coach John Hynes has characterized Brodin’s absence as short term, saying it should be a matter of days rather than more than a week.
- If the IR is backdated to Dec. 11, Brodin would be eligible to play Saturday against the Oilers, while Lambos could make his NHL debut Thursday at Columbus.
