Wild Elephant and Calf Trample Three to Death in Chhattisgarh

  • On July 23, a female elephant and her calf entered Gosaidih and Mohanpur villages in Raigarh district, killing three villagers including three-year-old Satyam Rawat.
  • Both attacks unfolded within the Lailunga forest range under the Dharamjaigarh forest division.
