- Greater Manchester Police report that a woman was grabbed and threatened on Central Park Way between 6:05 and 6:20am on January 9.
- The suspect attempted to force her to go with him, but she broke free and reached safety as he left the area.
- Wigan CID is pursuing multiple lines of enquiry, specialist officers are supporting the victim, and additional patrols are in place.
- The suspect is described as a white male about 6ft 1in tall, wearing grey joggers, black trainers, a yellow hi-vis vest and a black beanie hat.
