Overview

• The 22-year-old was sentenced at Preston Crown Court after pleading guilty to 49 child sexual offence charges, including rape and blackmail.
• He catfished girls by posing as a 14-year-old called “Josh” on Snapchat and offered cash or £200 gift cards for indecent images before threatening to leak them.
• He abused two girls in person, including raping a 12-year-old when he was 19, and committed numerous online offences against others aged about 12 to 15 across the UK.
• Police arrested him in December 2023 and found a phone hidden in a wardrobe containing roughly 4,000 child sexual abuse images and videos up to an hour long.
• Judge Philip Parry called him a highly dangerous predatory offender, and Greater Manchester Police say there may be additional victims in the UK and the United States.
