Overview

  • Tejeswar, a 32-year-old land surveyor from Gadwal, disappeared on June 17 and his body was recovered on June 20 near Pinnapuram in Nandyal district with knife injuries and a slit throat.
  • Gadwal police have arrested Tejeswar’s wife, Ishwarya, and her mother, Sujatha, on suspicion of orchestrating his abduction under the pretext of a land survey.
  • Call data records show more than 2,000 exchanges between Ishwarya and a Kurnool bank employee, who is accused of hiring contract killers and is currently on the run.
  • Investigators have seized the vehicle used to transport Tejeswar and are examining forensic evidence to identify any additional conspirators.
