Wife and Lover Arrested in Stabbing Death of Husband in California

Police believe the murder was planned to end the marriage, gain full custody of the children, and acquire all family assets.

Razma Mohammad-Ibrahim, 35, and her lover, Samim Azizi, 21, have been arrested and charged with the murder of her husband, Parwiz Assar, 51, who was found stabbed to death outside his home in Hayward, California.
Assar had reportedly expressed fear for his life and had asked a friend if he could stay at their house, suspecting his wife was planning to attack him.
Mohammad-Ibrahim and Azizi allegedly planned to kill Assar to end her marriage, gain full custody of her children, and acquire all family assets.
Evidence against the suspects includes surveillance footage, text messages, internet search history, and social media activity, including a post by Mohammad-Ibrahim featuring a Selena Gomez song titled 'Single Soon' on the day of Assar's death.
Azizi was arrested in Seattle, Washington, on October 31, and is awaiting extradition to California. Mohammad-Ibrahim was arrested in Hayward on November 15 and is being held without bail.
