'The View' co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin criticized major women's organizations for not speaking out against the sexual violence perpetrated by Hamas on October 7.
Sheryl Sandberg, founder of LeanIn.org, called the silence on the issue 'deafening' in a CNN op-ed.
Griffin also criticized the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and Women Empowerment, the U.N. Committee on Elimination of Discrimination Against Women, and the international MeToo movement for their silence.
Despite the criticism, U.N. Women has called for a 'rigorous investigation' into the reports of rape and sexual assault in the Israel-Gaza conflict.
