Whitney Rydbeck, Actor and Crash Test Dummy Icon, Dies at 79

Known for roles in 'Friday the 13th Part VI' and 'M*A*S*H,' Rydbeck passed away from prostate cancer complications.

Rydbeck died in hospice care in Chatsworth, California, confirmed by director Tommy McLoughlin.
He was renowned for his role as Roy in 'Friday the 13th Part VI: Jason Lives.'
Rydbeck starred in numerous TV shows including 'The Brady Bunch,' 'M*A*S*H,' and 'Star Trek: The Next Generation.'
He gained fame as Larry the crash test dummy in 1980s seat belt safety PSAs.
Rydbeck later taught drama at Pasadena City College.
