Whitney Houston's Historic 1994 South Africa Concert to Hit Theaters for 30th Anniversary

The remastered film of Houston's Durban performance will be released globally on October 23 and 27, followed by a live album on November 8.

Whitney Houston's 1994 concert in South Africa, following Nelson Mandela's election, will be released as a remastered film titled 'The Concert for a New South Africa (Durban)'.
The film will feature a never-before-released performance from Durban, with screenings in nearly 900 cinemas across more than 25 countries.
Proceeds from the original concerts benefited local South African children's charities through Houston's foundation.
A new live album featuring Houston's greatest hits and an unreleased track will accompany the film's release on November 8.
The concert film is produced by Trafalgar Releasing and Sony Music Entertainment in collaboration with Houston's estate and Primary Wave Music.
