• The Great North Air Ambulance landed on grass next to the site as paramedics and an ambulance crew treated the patient.
• An off-duty medic assisted while NEAS deployed a rapid response paramedic, a clinical team leader and an emergency ambulance crew.
• Emergency services remained on scene at 3:09pm, and authorities said the fair will stay closed until further notice.
