White Sox Trade for Corey Julks, Recall Dominic Fletcher

Chicago White Sox acquire outfielder Corey Julks from Houston Astros and recall Dominic Fletcher from Triple-A Charlotte.

Corey Julks, 28, was traded for minor-league pitcher Luis Rodriguez and optioned to Triple-A Charlotte.
Julks hit .245 with six homers in 93 games for Houston last season and .266 with five homers in Triple-A this year.
Dominic Fletcher, who batted .203 in 20 games with the White Sox earlier this season, has been recalled.
Outfielder Rafael Ortega was designated for assignment to make room for Fletcher on the roster.
Julks may be recalled if the White Sox need a right-handed hitter in the lineup.
