Chicago White Sox closer Liam Hendriks threw live batting practice in his comeback from cancer.
Hendriks was diagnosed with stage 4 non-Hodgkin lymphoma last summer and announced last month he was in remission.
The White Sox would love to have him back as soon as possible, but they will not rush any decisions.
Hendriks has 115 saves and a 3.81 ERA over 12 seasons and signed a $54 million, three-year deal with the White Sox in January 2021.
It is unclear when he will return to the bullpen and there is no timetable for his return.
