White Castle Recalls 1,021 Frozen Original Slider Cartons Over Undeclared Allergens

Some boxes contain Jalapeño Cheese Sliders, creating a milk or soy allergy risk due to missing labels.

Overview

  • White Castle announced the recall on December 12 after FDA publication, covering frozen four-count Original Sliders that may contain undeclared milk or soy.
  • The affected products were shipped nationwide primarily to convenience stores from August through October 2025.
  • A packaging error placed Jalapeño Cheese Sliders in Original Slider cartons, a problem identified after a customer reported a non-life-threatening allergic reaction.
  • The recalled cartons are UPC 0-82988-02969-3 with lot codes 9H203521 or 9H203522 and a best-by date of April 18, 2026, with only cartons bearing all eight characters of those lot codes included.
  • Consumers should return affected cartons for a full refund and can contact White Castle’s 24/7 hotline at 800-843-2728, with no additional injury reports confirmed to date.
