  • Merrifield ended his nine-year career without playing in 2025 after finishing the 2024 season with the Braves and entering free agency.
  • He twice led the majors in hits (192 in 2018, 206 in 2019) and topped stolen bases three times, including a career-high 45 steals in 2018.
