- Which? identified products on Amazon, eBay, Superdrug Marketplace, TikTok Shop, Temu and AliExpress that exceeded safe upper levels, including vitamin D3 at 50,000 IU (1,250 µg) on AliExpress—12.5 times the daily guideline.
- Nuke Nutrition withdrew a 10,000 IU (250 µg) vitamin D3 product listed on Superdrug Marketplace, TikTok Shop and eBay, and those platforms said they removed the flagged listings.
- Holland & Barrett pulled a 100 mg vitamin B6 product and said it is reformulating its B6 range to align with EFSA guidance, with noncompliant items being withdrawn.
- Other flagged items included child‑targeted vitamin D3 at 62.5 µg on Temu, 7,500 µg vitamin A capsules from Mother Nature on Etsy, TikTok Shop and eBay, and 50 mg zinc tablets sold by well-known brands.
- Amazon, eBay and AliExpress said products met current laws or were already removed, while Which? urged mandatory limits as NHS guidance warns sustained high doses can cause serious harm.
