• The opt-in summary feature appears as a “Summarise with Meta AI” button when users have significant unread messages.
• Chat content is processed in isolated cloud enclaves and purged immediately after generating the summary.
• Conversations with Advanced Chat Privacy enabled bypass AI processing to respect user preferences.
• A separate Writing Help tool under Private Processing is being developed to refine message tone before sending.
• Availability is currently limited to selected Android beta testers with wider rollout and iOS support dates unannounced.
