Overview
- Mohammed Al Shaker Al Tamimi, 35, entered the guilty pleas at the Central Criminal Court on 10 October 2025.
- The attacks occurred on 1 December 2024 at the family home in New Ross, where eight-year-old Malika Noor Al Kattib died after being stabbed and her mother, Aisha Noor Al Kattib, was seriously injured.
- Mr Justice Paul McDermott remanded Al Tamimi in custody and set the sentencing hearing for 15 December 2025.
- Prosecuting counsel said the surviving victim expects to deliver a victim impact statement in December and is currently not feeling strong.
