Overview

• The first site, The Hykeham Manor at Gateway Park in Lincoln, opens on October 1 on the former Brewers Fayre plot.
• Three further pubs are slated to launch in October and November in Annitsford, Stockton-on-Tees and Emersons Green, with exact addresses to be confirmed.
• The family-run Papas Group, known for Papa’s Fish and Chips and operating Wendy’s outlets, will run the franchised pubs.
• The new venues are being positioned outside traditional high streets to serve areas where people live and work.
• The franchise rollout complements a separate plan for about 15 managed openings, while six older pubs have been put up for sale and will keep trading until sold.
