Overview

• Two London venues open on September 30: The Sir Alexander Fleming in Paddington Basin and The Sun Wharf on Tooley Street near London Bridge.
• The King of Essex in Basildon is also scheduled to open on September 30, extending the same wave of launches.
• The Hykeham Manor in Gateway Park, Lincoln will open on October 1 as the first site outside London in this phase.

• Wetherspoon confirms a 15-pub franchise deal with The Papas Group, while existing franchise arrangements continue with partners such as Haven; the Paddington conversion was reported at about £943,000 with around 70 jobs.
