Overview
- The Chiltern in Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire, opens on 13 January inside the former Chiltern Picture House.
- Castell de Santa Bàrbera will launch in February in the departures area at Alicante-Elche Miguel Hernández Airport in Spain.
- The Spanish location will trade seven days a week from 6am to 9pm.
- The menu will include Full English breakfasts, burgers, pizzas and draught beer alongside Spanish omelette and garlic prawns.
- Founder and chairman Sir Tim Martin says the airport opening begins the brand’s overseas expansion within a plan to add 30 pubs this financial year, with the chain already operating more than 800 UK sites.
