Overview
- JD Wetherspoon is running a 12-day cask ale festival across participating pubs from Wednesday 7 October to Sunday 18 October.
- The line-up comprises roughly 25–30 real ales newly introduced to the chain, including five international entries from China, Denmark, Singapore, Ukraine and the USA.
- For the first time Wetherspoon will serve cask ales from Singapore and Ukraine, with named international beers including Urbrew Oolong ESB, Mikkeller English Dream Pilsner, Lion Mango IPA, Varvar Session Golden Ale and UPP Liquids Pinball Wizard.
- Pints will average about £2.40 with prices varying by pub, and customers can buy three third‑pint tasters for the price of one pint to sample multiple beers.
- Many festival beers were brewed exclusively for the event and include unusual ingredients plus vegan options, and tasting notes, allergen details and a printed festival magazine and app will guide customers and allow orders at the bar or via the Wetherspoon app.
