Overview
- Wetherspoon will stage a 10-day cider festival across dozens of its West Midlands pubs with a published list of participating sites.
- A curated range of UK craft ciders will be sold at a uniform price of £2.99 per pint, covering traditional apple ciders, perries and flavoured options.
- Customers can sample three third-of-a-pint tasters for the price of a pint and order festival ciders at the bar or through the Wetherspoon app.
- Named small producers taking part include Farmer Jims, Hecks, Purbeck, Rich's, Thistly Cross, Harry's and Pulp, giving those brands wider exposure in the chain.
- Wetherspoon said the event is designed to showcase ciders not previously available in its pubs and the app-based tasting notes aim to make trial easier for customers while driving footfall for the producers.
