Overview

• The national meteorological agency warns of heavy rain and wet snow on September 22 in Arkhangai, Bulgan, southern Khovsgol and northern Uvurkhangai, and on September 23 in Tuv and Khentii, with slippery road passes expected.
• Ulaanbaatar is mild on September 21, with forecasts indicating showers overnight and rain on Monday as daytime temperatures dip to around 15–17°C.
• The September 22–26 outlook calls for intermittent precipitation across regions and stronger winds up to 13–15 m/s on the 23rd in Gobi and steppe areas, with cooling most pronounced in the east on that day.
• Construction of the Hushigiin Khondii branch railway reports 44.8% completion of surfacing, with excavation at 98.7%, embankment at 91.6%, bridge girders at 76% and culverts at 75.4%, on a planned 102.5 km, 1,520 mm gauge line with three stations, four crossings and 2.5 km of bridges.
