Wet Leg’s Moisturizer Claims UK Number One Over Oasis

  • The album also led the Official Vinyl Albums Chart and dominated independent record store sales in the UK.
  • The chart win capped a promotional campaign featuring lead singer Rhian Teasdale’s pledge to shave her armpits if they overtook Oasis.
  • To mark their victory, the band shared a social media image of Teasdale wearing an Oasis-labelled T-shirt with the caption “Yay, eat shit Oasis hehe.”
  • The five-member band has announced an expanded UK and Ireland tour beginning November 13 at London’s Royal Albert Hall.
