Westlake Advances in Playoffs with 24-7 Win Over Brennan

Westlake defeated San Antonio Brennan 24-7 in the second round of the Class 6A Division I playoffs at Burger Stadium in Austin.
The Chaparrals' defense limited Brennan to under 130 yards of total offense, with most of those yards coming from a single 75-yard trick-play pass.
Key special teams errors by Brennan, including a blocked punt, set up two Westlake touchdowns and gave the Chaparrals control of the game early on.
Westlake quarterback Rees Wise accounted for all three of the team's touchdowns, throwing for one and rushing for two more.
