- A Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner carrying 242 people crashed into a doctors’ hostel just outside Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport shortly after takeoff
- Western Railway has scheduled two Superfast Special trains—09497/09498 to Delhi and 09494/09493 to Mumbai—to depart late on June 12 and return on June 13
