Overview
- Western Railway will enforce night blocks on Jan 11–12 and Jan 12–13 at Kandivali to dismantle Point No. 104 and connect crossovers 101–104, with Up Fast shut 11:15 pm–3:15 am and Down Fast 1:00 am–4:30 am on both nights.
- A total of 60 Up and 60 Down services will be cancelled each day on Jan 12 and 13, with additional regulation due to temporary suspension of the fifth line and speed restrictions.
- The Kandivali–Borivali corridor remains under a 30‑day block through Jan 18 to complete civil, track and signalling works for the sixth line.
- Central Railway will operate a Jan 11 mega block, diverting slow services via fast lines between CSMT and Vidyavihar from 10:55 am to 3:55 pm and suspending Thane–Vashi/Nerul Trans‑Harbour services from 11:10 am to 4:10 pm.
- Central Railway will also run night traffic and power blocks on the Kalyan–Badlapur section on Jan 10–11 and Jan 11–12, suspending suburban runs between Ambarnath and Vangani and diverting several Mail/Express trains via Karjat–Panvel–Diva with halts at Panvel and Thane.
