Overview

• The Association of Indian Universities granted formal equivalence to WACE on May 28, clearing the way for its launch in Indian classrooms.
• Administered by the School Curriculum and Standards Authority of Western Australia, WACE provides a full K-12 education pathway.
• The programme emphasises competency-based, inquiry-driven learning and holistic assessment in alignment with NEP 2020.
• Students completing WACE will receive an Australian Tertiary Admission Rank recognised by universities in Australia, the UK, the US, Canada, Europe and Asia.
• About 30 teachers are currently attending initial training workshops in Bangalore to prepare for WACE curriculum delivery.
