City officials are emphasizing security following last year's shooting.

Overview

  • Street closures begin Sunday and continue through Monday at police discretion, with extensive restrictions around Eastern Parkway, Grand Army Plaza, Flatbush Avenue, Empire Boulevard and connecting corridors.
  • PIX11 will broadcast the parade live on TV, PIX11.com and PIX11+, and the event remains free to watch along the route.

  • Adult registration is closed, though float entries and King and Queen categories remain open per organizers, and several Carnival Week events such as Panorama have sold out.
