Overview
- Power Minister Aroop Biswas said peak load is expected to reach 12,050 MW on Tritiya, more than 21% higher than about 9,912 MW recorded around the same time last year.
- About 79,414 personnel will be deployed on continuous duty across the state, supported by nearly 3,700 mobile response vans for emergencies.
- A central Puja Control Room will operate 24x7 through the festival period, with consumer helplines active for both WBSEDCL distribution areas and CESC-served zones.
