Wendy Osefo Addresses Fraud Case at BravoCon, Calls Charges "Allegations"

Her brief remarks followed indictments that cite returns, recovered items and insurance records.

Overview

  • Speaking on a Real Housewives of Potomac panel in Las Vegas on Nov. 14, Osefo thanked supporters and said she will share her story when she is able, calling the situation unfortunate.
  • She told the audience she keeps her “chin up” and publicly thanked Stacey Rusch, Monique Samuels, Tia Glover and Gizelle Bryant, as well as Bravo and the production team, for their support.
  • Wendy and her husband, Eddie Osefo, were booked in Westminster, Maryland on Oct. 9 following a grand jury indictment and were released on $50,000 bond each.
  • Documents and reporting say the couple signed statements claiming up to $450,000 in property losses, received a $25,380 Travelers Insurance payout, and that authorities later recovered at least 15 items at their home.
  • Investigators cite home security data showing no movement during the trip, more than $20,000 in refunds on items later reported stolen, and an April 2024 email from Eddie about adding high‑value items to reach a policy maximum.
