Welsh Woman Sentenced for Harassing Boyfriend's Ex with Fart Videos

Rhiannon Evans, 25, pleaded guilty to sending eight videos of herself breaking wind to her boyfriend's ex-girlfriend, resulting in fines, a restraining order, and mandated rehabilitation.

Rhiannon Evans sent eight videos of herself passing gas to her boyfriend's ex, Deborah Prytherch, between December 22, 2024, and New Year's Day 2025.
The videos were deemed malicious by the court, with the victim reporting distress and anxiety caused by the harassment.
Evans claimed she sent the videos after consuming alcohol and believed her boyfriend was being treated unfairly in child visitation disputes.
The court sentenced Evans to a 12-month community order, including 15 rehabilitation sessions and a 60-day alcohol ban monitored by an ankle device.
Evans was fined approximately $373, ordered to pay $124 in compensation to Prytherch, and issued a two-year restraining order prohibiting contact with the victim.
