Voting for the Welsh Labour leadership opened on February 16, with the result expected to be announced on March 16.
Jeremy Miles, the current Minister for Education and Welsh Language, has a background in law and has been an advocate for extending voting rights to 16-year-olds in Welsh elections.
Vaughan Gething, the Minister for the Economy, is backed by most large unions and could become Wales' first Black First Minister.
The election is historic as it could also see the election of Wales' first openly gay First Minister, should Jeremy Miles win.
