Overview
- The recall covers Wegmans Deluxe Mixed Nuts Unsalted 34 oz tubs (UPC 077890421314, Lot 58041, Best by July 28, 2026) and 11.5 oz bags (UPC 077890421352, Lot 58171, Best by August 10, 2026).
- Affected products were sold from November 3 to December 1, 2025 in Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, Massachusetts, North Carolina, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Washington, D.C.
- Mellace Family Brands California, Inc. of Warren, Ohio manufactured the nuts and initiated the voluntary recall following the FDA notice posted December 5.
- Routine supplier testing detected Salmonella in a lot of raw pistachios used in the recalled batches, and authorities report no illnesses to date.
- Wegmans advises customers to return the products for a full refund, with codes located near nutrition labels, and provides a helpline at 1-855-934-3663 from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. EST.
