Wegmans Recalls Unsalted Mixed Nuts in 10 States Over Salmonella Risk

  • Mellace Family Brands California, Inc. of Warren, Ohio manufactured the nuts and initiated the voluntary recall following the FDA notice posted December 5.
  • Routine supplier testing detected Salmonella in a lot of raw pistachios used in the recalled batches, and authorities report no illnesses to date.
  • Wegmans advises customers to return the products for a full refund, with codes located near nutrition labels, and provides a helpline at 1-855-934-3663 from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. EST.
